The Forum's You Tube Contest

Hey everybody, we are proud to announce THE Forums You Tube contest. It's going to be a "You Tube Video Contest." Here's how it's going to work: The contest will run now to July 31st 2009. Then for the month of August 2009 the members will vote on which video they believe should win. The winner will be then announced in the beginning of September 2009 and will win $50 cold hard cash from The Forum, and a $50 gift certificate to be used at Nemer Chrysler/Dodge/Chevy/Ford for parts (gift certificate must be used by December 31‘ 2009).

Here are the rules:

1) This contest will run across ALL of THE Forums. There will be 4 winners - 1 winner per forum (1 winner for The Charger, 1 winner for The Challenger, 1 winner for The Dodge Truck, and 1 winner for The Camaro forum). The only thing is, you must be a member on The Forum for which the video is for (a video submitted for The Dodge Truck must be submitted by a member on that forum and submitted on that forum , a video submitted for The Charger Forum must be a member on that forum and submitted on that forum, etc.) So if you are not already a member on THE other forums- go register now.

2) The video must be posted on You Tube and only videos that are linked to You Tube will be accepted.

3) The video must contain the url of The forum it is to be submitted for. So a video submitted for The Dodge Truck Forum must have in the video the words www.TheDodgeTruckForum.com somewhere / video for The Charger Forum must have www.TheChargerForum.com / video for The Challenger Forum must have www.TheChallengerForum.com / video for The Camaro Forum must have www.TheCamaroForum.com

4) The video must contain a screenshot of The Forum home page for which it is submitted for somewhere in the video. The video must pertain to The Forum (example: your ride, great place for information, chat with other enthusiasts, getting help or ideas from great members, etc.)

5) The you tube contest will run from now until Midnight (eastern time) July 31st 2009. No video will be allowed for contest purposes or be allowed to be posted in the You Tube Contest forum section after that time.

6) You may submit up to three videos only per forum. You may only vote for one video and only once for a video per forum

7) Please keep it HONEST, and fun. If any cheating does occur- the person cheating will be eliminated from the contest. Solicitation of votes on The or other forums, or having friends sign up to vote for you will disqualify you from this contest.

8) You must have a paypal account, so the cash prize can be paid to you.

to post a you tube video, just go to you tube and find the video you want to post and in the address bar look at the address, which will look something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fS4v...axa_popt00us00 - in the reply box on The Forum click on the you tube button (located to the far right on the bar that has the bold, italic and underline buttons) , you will then have something that looks like this (YOUTUBE)(/YOUTUBE) - in between the two brackets you add the video number (which in the example above will be the numbers and letters just pass the v=) so you would put 7fS4v5_T5PA you don not have to add the & and anything after it so it will look something like this (YOUTUBE) 7fS4v5_T5PA (/YOUTUBE) and click the submit reply button and the video will be embedded into the post
